Hardox® Extreme
Hardox® Extreme is the world’s hardest wear plate, featuring a nominal hardness of 60 HRC (Rockwell) and a typical hardness range of 650-700 HBW. Designed for applications that require exceptional abrasion resistance, such as liner plates, Hardox® Extreme excels in demanding environments. In glass recycling equipment, it not only reduces lifecycle costs but also extends service life without compromising the quality of the finished product.
Hardox® Extreme Stockholder & Supplier

Hardox® Extreme is not intended for further heat treatment. It has obtained its mechanical properties by quenching and when necessary by means of subsequent tempering.
The properties of the delivery condition cannot be retained after exposure to temperatures in excess of 150ºC. Appropriate health and safety precautions must be taken when welding, cutting, grinding or otherwise working on the product. Grinding, especially of primer coated plates, may produce dust with high particle concentration.
What is Hardox® Extreme?
This is the world’s hardest wear plate which can be welded, machined and cut with a nominal hardness of 60 HRC (Rockwell) and a typical hardness of 650-700 HBW.
It is intended for applications with extreme high demands on abrasion resistance, such as liner plates.
