Materials Handler

ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Efficient unloading, handling and storage of delivered material
  • Inspection of materials to agreed quality parameters
  • Ensuring correct storage both inside and outside with location of materials and adhering to any special instructions
  • Ensure Mill certification is with steel delivery – verifying correct cast numbers
  • Correct identification and marking up of material with unique traceability number
  • Completed paperwork to be given to Purchasing Department
  • Sorting and feeding production with materials to production plans including assisting with manoeuvring of materials on to and off the machines, either by crane or manually.
  • Any down time beyond the above functions then assistance to be given in Laser Department

  • Recent / relevant experience in a Manufacturing Goods In / Warehouse environment
  • Valid and in date Fork Lift Truck Licence – Counterbalance Licence B2

General FLT Operator

ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Efficient unloading, handling and storage of internal material; steel, stainless steel, aluminium etc. to appropriate holding area
  • Ensuring correct storage inside with location of materials updated on computer
  • Sorting and feeding production with materials to production plans including assisting with maneuvering of materials on to and off the machines, either by crane or manually
  • Maximise the uptime of the machines by delivering materials in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate stock representation of the press racks
  • Follow the Laser Kitting Process

Quality Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Review of ISIR and FAIR reports prior to submission
  • First point of contact for internal quality concerns
  • Investigate Non-conformances, both internal and external and implement CAPA measures
  • Compilation and submission of PPAP documents as requested by customers
  • Provide inspection support as required (Absence/ Workload)
  • Review and approval of concessions prior to submission to customers
  • Conduct daily QA audits
  • Conduct and lead 8D investigation reports issued by QHSE Manager
  • Development of process controls for specific processes
  • Generate Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR’s) follow up to ensure effective CAPA are implemented

Production Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Develop processes to produce product that meet internal and external customer requirements
  • Ensure all processes meet volume, quality, cost and delivery targets
  • Ensure the design of production processes and facility layouts to optimise ‘Value Added’ activities and eliminate ‘Non-Value Added’ processes and operations
  • Ensure jigs, fixtures, tooling and programming are available to support all production requirements
  • Provide accurate reporting, detailing progress to plan, open issues, upcoming actions and risk management
  • Provide technical support to all manufacturing areas to eliminate waste, reduce NVA, deliver productivity and prevent accidents
  • Identification, specification and presentation of business cases for new equipment and processes

  • Support the implementation of training procedures and training programs to ensure effective use of all new processes and equipment

Project Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Project management experience with a wide scope of responsibility to take projects from order through to full production
  • To lead multi-disciplined project teams from inception to achievement of desired results
  • Provide technically sound engineering solutions to achieve effective results and to resolve any potential problems or issues
  • Main point of contact for designated blue-chip customers, ensuring liaisons to manage customer requirements and expectations including variations from original order
  • To prepare accurate timelines for all aspects of each project

Press Brake Operative

ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Pressing using the Brake Presses to produce customers’ orders on time and to the correct quality standard
  • Setting up the machine – reading drawings, programming machine, tooling changes etc.
  • Marking up of pressed parts and packing
  • Robot Programming
  • Material Handling – manoeuvring of materials on to and off the press machines, either by crane or manually
ABOUT YOU
  • Previous Press Brake operating and setting experience essential
  • Ideally knowledge of Cybelec Software programming

  • Knowledge of working with different grades of metal

ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Complete pre-shift FLT checks
  • Operate FLT equipment within the Warehouse
  • Safe loading, unloading and movement of our Fork Lifts
  • Daily stock location audits
  • Accurate completion of documents (paper based and digital)
  • Book in parts and put away on to racking into its appropriate location
  • Pick parts from racking and deliver to internal departments
  • Move product from Laser and Press bays to Warehouse and Despatch areas safely

  • Valid and in-date FLT Counterbalance licence
  • Previous warehousing experience; logistics, despatch, FLT, engineering or manufacturing

Laser Operator Assistant

ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Ensure Laser Machines are supplied with the correct materials
  • Ensure material is checked for size, thickness and grade prior to cutting
  • Load materials onto the laser bed
  • Support the Laser Operator to cut and shape the correct materials according to engineer drawings
  • Inspect finished components; Marking up of cut parts, cleaning and fettling products
  • Inform the Laser Operator of any quality concerns
  • Ensure parts and sheets are handled and labelled correctly
  • Ensure the parts are routed correctly to the next department / team
ABOUT YOU
  • Knowledge working within a machining operative / machine minding capacity or general laser production
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Slinging and lifting crane experience
  • Willingness to learn; many Production Assistants become Laser Operators

Working as part of a skilled team, our CNC Setters machine critical components which are used on a variety of projects within our well-known sectors. Welder

We are looking to welcome an experienced Welder to join our skilled team and perform Welding activities on some of the UKs well known products. You will master a variety of techniques on a wide range of components; carbon steel, armour steel, and aluminium. The majority of the work will be MIG welding where your dexterity and hand-eye coordination will help to make welds clean and precise.

ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Perform welding activities on carbon steel, armour steel, aluminium
  • Weld various joint configurations in all positions
  • Ensure equipment parameters are set to the optimum to fully satisfy weld quality, integrity,
  • and WPS requirements
  • Review engineering drawings for parts to be welded
  • Satisfy production schedules to the correct quality level and within the specified time scale
  • Carry out and record the daily / weekly / monthly maintenance checks and record the necessary safety checks
  • Ensure correct marking up of component parts
  • Ensure that the labelling system is adhered to
ABOUT YOU
  • Recent / relevant Welding / Fabrication Experience
  • Understanding of quality procedures and specific customer requirements
  • Ideally a coded welder
