MTL Advanced is committed to making a positive impact beyond manufacturing, actively supporting local charities and initiatives that strengthen our community. We are proud to have a longstanding partnership with Rotherham Hospice, dedicating our efforts to fundraising and volunteering to help provide vital care for those in need.
In addition to our work with the hospice, we support various local initiatives, from educational programs to environmental projects, ensuring we give back in meaningful ways. Through our corporate social responsibility initiatives, we strive to foster positive change and support causes that matter to our employees and the wider community.
MTL Advanced Apprentices fabricate new Sculpture for Rotherham Town
MTL Welding & Fabrication Apprentices have been busy behind the scenes working with Artist James Capper on an exciting new nature inspired sculpture. Our apprentices spent over 3 months fabricating parts for ‘Camellia’, a new sculpture which will be permanently located in Rotherham town centre. The 8m tall sculpture has been designed to showcase the town’s industrial heritage and beautiful green spaces.
Working on local community projects such as Camellia is a great way for our apprentices to learn their trade while also benefiting their town and bringing pride to their local community.
