MTL Advanced is a leading contract manufacturer specialising in armour components for civilian and military vehicles, as well as infrastructure protection. Partnering with major defence companies across Europe, the US, the Middle East, and Australasia, MTL offers comprehensive solutions from design and development to full production.

Our state-of-the-art 367,000 sq ft facility provides a turnkey solution for armoured vehicle fabrication, assembly, and painting. We utilise advanced automated welding systems, capable of handling armoured structures up to 10 tonnes, ensuring high-quality production.

MTL’s expertise covers everything from vehicle armour kits to Perforated Armour, which offers lightweight, cost-effective protection up to STANAG Level IV. Our Design for Manufacture (DFM) team, with over 25 years of experience, optimises designs for enhanced protection and reduced costs.

We support our clients through every stage, from design and prototyping to ballistic validation and volume manufacturing. MTL’s innovative processes, including cold form bending of ultra-high-hard armour steels, help reduce vehicle weight while enhancing protection, delivering significant cost savings to our global customers.
