Steel for extreme abrasion resistance

MTL Advanced Ltd is one of the largest Hardox Weaparts Centre’s in the UK and is a Hardox Extreme stockholder and supplier to clients in a range of industries around the world, including defence, automotive, yellow goods and mining.

With various industry quality accreditations and many years’ experience working with this material, we have the capability to manufacture and supply Hardox Extreme plates in different sizes and thicknesses to satisfy the needs of our customers.

Due to our extensive in-house manufacturing capabilities and stringent quality measures, we can also machine, press parts up to 7.2m length and waterjet cut this wear plate to the UK’s highest standards.

What is Hardox Extreme?

This is the world’s hardest wear plate which can be welded, machined and cut with a nominal hardness of 60 HRC (Rockwell) and a typical hardness of 650-700 HBW.

It is intended for applications with extreme high demands on abrasion resistance, such as liner plates.
