MTL Advanced is proud to stand alongside AESSEAL and Pryor Technology in support of Rotherham Hospice’s new Feather Appeal, a powerful tribute designed to honour lost loved ones while raising essential funds for local hospice care.
The appeal invites members of the public to dedicate a beautifully crafted steel feather in memory of someone special. These feathers will form part of a “Meadow of Memories” installation in the historic gardens of Wentworth Woodhouse, on display from 9th to 23rd August 2025. Proceeds from each dedication – with a suggested donation of £40 – will help Rotherham Hospice continue providing outstanding end-of-life care to patients and their families.
At the heart of this unique community project is MTL Advanced. As one of the UK’s leading contract manufacturing specialists in steel fabrication, we are supplying both the manufacturing expertise and hands-on support that will bring this installation to life. Our talented apprentices are producing the hundreds of steel feathers featured in the display, gaining real-world experience while contributing to a meaningful and local cause.
MTL Advanced has supported Rotherham Hospice for many years, previously naming them as our Charity of the Year and producing the striking Tree of Life sculpture now displayed in the hospice gardens. This latest collaboration deepens our commitment to supporting the community we call home.
