Engineering and Manufacturing specialists, MTL proudly participated in National Apprenticeship Week 2025. This week-long celebration brings together the apprenticeship community to highlight the achievements and opportunities that apprenticeships provide.
On Thursday 11th February, MTL hosted it’s third Apprenticeship Open Evening, welcoming over 100 visitors interested in starting a career in engineering.
The event is held for individuals eager to begin a career in engineering through an apprenticeship. Attendees had the opportunity to explore how MTL’s apprenticeship programmes work, along with the wide range of career paths available within the sector.
The open evening gave visitors the chance to meet current apprentices and hear firsthand about their experiences. This allowed individuals to gain valuable insights into the daily life of an apprentice, the challenges they face, and the skills they develop along the way.
MTL is committed to supporting the next generation of engineers, offering hands-on experience and high quality training throughout the apprenticeship programme.
In addition, the company regularly shared updates on their social media channels, showcasing the progress and accomplishments of both current and former apprentices. These posts highlighted how apprentices are honing their engineering skills, offering an inside look at their journeys and the valuable experience gained throughout their apprenticeship with MTL.
