We’re delighted to share that MTL Advanced has been in the spotlight this week, featuring on BBC News for our involvement in the opening of The Meadow of Memories at Rotherham Hospice.
This special community project saw our talented apprentices handcraft hundreds of delicate metal feathers, each representing the life and memory of a loved one. Together, the feathers formed a stunning display in the hospice gardens — a place for families and friends to reflect, remember, and celebrate.
The Mayor of Rotherham joined the opening ceremony alongside our apprentices, recognising the skill, creativity, and compassion that went into every single piece. This was not only an opportunity to showcase MTL’s craftsmanship, but also a powerful example of how our people make a difference far beyond the workshop floor.
Our appearance on BBC News has put this incredible project, and the apprentices who made it happen, on a national stage. We couldn’t be prouder of the hard work, dedication, and heart our team has shown in supporting such a meaningful cause.
A huge thank you to everyone involved, you’ve done MTL proud!
