Celebrating Success: Our 2025 Apprentice of the Year Awards
We recently hosted our annual Apprentice of the Year Awards 2025 at MTL Advanced, a special evening dedicated to celebrating the hard work, skills, and achievements of our incredible apprentices in Rotherham. The event brought together over 100 guests, including our current apprentices and their families, training providers, MTL colleagues, and a number of distinguished guests from the local community.
Held every autumn, our Apprentice Awards are one of the highlights of the year, giving us the opportunity to recognise the dedication, progress, and success our apprentices have shown over the past twelve months. It’s always inspiring to see how much our apprentices grow during their time with us, and the event is a true celebration of their commitment to learning and excellence.
Throughout the evening, we presented a wide range of awards across categories. Each award represented the values we stand for as a business and reflected the enthusiasm and determination our apprentices bring to their roles every single day. We were also proud to recognise our graduating apprentices, who received their official apprenticeship completion certificates – marking a huge milestone in their careers.
We were honoured to welcome Councillor Rukhsana Ismail, Mayor of Rotherham, as our guest speaker. Her words of encouragement and support for the next generation of skilled engineers made the evening even more special.
