Financial Accountant (Temporary)


  • Manage general accounts office personnel to provide a professional and efficient service underpinning validity of ledgers, records, cash & banks and general internal control environment.
  • Lead monthly and annual closing processes to consistently achieve departmental deadlines. Ensure reliable, accurate and timely closings.
  • Manage Accounts Payable to ensure efficient processes and prompt settlement of vendor accounts.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable to ensure efficient processes and good link with Credit Control.
  • Manage Cash Books, daily bank reconciliation process and petty cash.
  • Ensure internal control environment is strong.
  • Ensure full balance sheet reconciliation on a monthly basis as part of closing routines.
  • Monthly standard and other journal entries, including accruals & prepayments.
  • Control Fixed Assets, plant registers, depreciation and capital expenditures, including monthly reporting.
  • Manage system to ensure intercompany balances are reconciled each month and settled promptly.
  • Ensure business meets its obligations relating to VAT, Intrastat and EC Sales reporting.
  • Ensure business meets its obligations relating to corporate and payroll taxes.
  • Involvement in Payroll function vis a vis timely and accurate payment of wages & salaries.
  • Ensure processing of payroll journals, reconciliation of all relevant control accounts and settlement of external payroll liabilities.
  • Completion and submission of P11D, PSA, Class 1ANIC and other benefit information.
  • Help to lead annual Audit process. Point of contact to auditors. Preparation of annual audit files. Input to preparation of annual Statutory Accounts.
  • Daily & monthly payment processing.
  • Various ad-hoc reports & returns to Office for National Statistics.
  • Ad hoc analysis and reporting, as required.

Material Handler


  • Efficient unloading, handling and storage of internal material, e.g., steel, stainless steel, aluminium etc. to appropriate holding area
  • Ensuring correct storage inside with location of materials updated on computer
  • Sorting and feeding production with materials to production plans including assisting with maneuvering of materials on to and off the machines, either by crane or manually.
  • Housekeeping – ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the Departments and Profile Compound are maintained to a high standard at all times to comply with Health and Safety standards.
  • Maximise the uptime of the machines by delivering materials in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate stock representation of the press racks

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

  • Fork Lift Truck B2 license, with oversize load experience carrying large pieces of sheet metal
  • Ability to work efficiently and build effective working relationships
  • Overhead crane / slinging & lifting skills

Press Brake Senior Team Leader

This is a frontline leadership role with full process ownership for the day to day running of the press shop. Ideally you will have worked your way up from the shop-floor and are currently a team leader or manager in a similar role. You’ll be skilled at people management, as you will managing a 20+ member team. You’ll need to be a highly organised individual, as well as being a technical expert in your field. You will be used to working to tight tolerances, be able to read technical engineering diagrams and be able to train less experienced members of your team to do the same.


  • Ensuring that your team members are trained in using the relevant machines and equipment, reading drawings and procedures.
  • Assuming full ownership of your team, by creating and maintaining their commitment, loyalty and motivation.
  • Organising and obtaining maximum results from your team, through briefing, encouragement, counselling and disciplinary action where necessary.
  • Recognising training and development needs and liaising with the Production Manager regarding your teams further development.
  • Ensuring all Safety / Rules / Standards are adhered to, ensuring correct Personal Protective Equipment is worn at all times.
  • Ensuring the workshop and all its facilities: Are kept tidy and free from clutter at all times, operators are fulfilling their duties correctly and effectively at all times, parts are flowing to the next process with correct labelling procedures and “Schedule reports” are being followed and signed off each operation

  • Experience in press braking.

Paint Sprayer


Working inside a spray bake facility, this role will be working as part of team shot blasting metal parts that meet customer’s specifications. Duties include:

  • Preparing work to extremely high standards
  • Working to specific production schedules
  • Completing all administrative procedures relating to paint area
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
  • Adhering to COSHH and DSEAR regulations
  • Attending meetings as and when needed
  • Any other ad hoc duties as may be required within the production environment

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

  • Previous experience using conventional and pressure pot application equipment
  • Application, masking, prepping and polishing to a high standard
  • Experience of using 2 pack solvent and waterborne paint is essential
  • Be fully conversant in both written and verbal English
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings and masking instructions
  • Ideally has a background in rail / aerospace / car finishing industry

37.5 hours per week , 3 shift rotation: 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm and 10pm – 6am. Please send your CV to

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation

Machine Operator


  • Prepare parts to be loaded into the machine
  • Ensure all orders are completed on time in full
  • Performing in process inspection of parts
  • Clean and complete the products as they come off the machine
  • Machine maintenance
  • Any other ad hoc duties

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:  

  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Experience working on a CNC milling machine and use of fanuc controls (preferable)
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to multi-task and with a high level of attention to detail
  • At least 2 years engineering experience
  • Ability to work well on own initiative

Press Brake Operator


  • Operating press brake machine, ensuring it runs continuously to ensure maximum productivity
  • Producing orders on time and to the correct quality standard
  • Manoeuvring of materials on to and off the press machines, either by crane or manually
  • Setting up the machine by reading engineering drawings, programming, tooling changes
  • Marking up of pressed parts and packing

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:  

  • Must have previous experience operating a press brake machine
  • Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of different metals an advantage.
  • Competent in the use of all forms of measuring equipment including verniers, rulers, angle measuring devices
  • Able to set and maintain a high standard of workmanship
  • Able to work pro-actively and as part of a team to improve productivity and efficiency
