MTL Advanced Ltd is one of the largest Hardox Weaparts Centre’s in the UK, and a Hardox 500 stockholder/supplier to clients around the world who require high wear resistance material.

With various industry quality accreditations and many years’ experience working with this particular steel, we are able to manufacture and supply Hardox 500 in various sizes and thicknesses to satisfy the needs of our customers.

Due to our extensive in-house manufacturing capabilities and stringent quality measures, we can also machine, press parts up to 7.2m length and waterjet cut Hardox 500 to the UK’s highest standards.

What is Hardox 500?

Hardox 500 is an abrasion-resistant steel with a nominal hardness of 500 HBW, particularly suitable for applications that demand higher wear resistance.

It increases both payload and service life while maintaining good processability, with guaranteed toughness when specified.

^*Brinell hardness, HBW, according to EN ISO 6506-1, on a milled surface 0.5– 3 mm below surface. At least one test specimen per heat and 40 tons.
