MTL Advanced Ltd is one of the largest Hardox Weaparts Centre’s in the UK and is a Hardox 400 stockholder/supplier to clients around the world.

With various industry quality accreditations and many years’ experience working with this material, we are able to supply and manufacture Hardox 400 plates in different sizes and thicknesses to satisfy the needs of our customers.

Due to our extensive in-house manufacturing capabilities, we can also machine, press parts up to 7.2m length and waterjet cut Hardox 400 to the UK’s highest standards.

What is Hardox 400?

Hardox 400 is an abrasion and all-round resistant steel with a nominal hardness of 400 HBW. As a result of its toughness, bendability and weldability, it can be used in structures with moderate wear.

^*Brinell hardness, HBW, according to EN ISO 6506-1, on a milled surface 0.5– 3 mm below surface. At least one test specimen per heat and 40 tons.
