Rotherham Apprentice of the Year Awards Finalists

Christina Bubb and Tom Smith

We’re delighted to announce that two of our welding/fabrication apprentices are finalists in the Rotherham Apprentice of the Year Awards 2017.

Christina Bubb and Tom Smith have been shortlisted in the final 16 out of 150 applications and the winner will be announced at the awards ceremony on 28 June at the New York Stadium.

The awards have been launched as part of National Apprenticeships Week which aims to bring together employers and apprentices from across England to celebrate the success of apprenticeships over the last decade, and seek to encourage even more people to choose apprenticeships as a fast-track to a great career.

We are currently recruiting engineering apprentices to join the MTL Advanced team in September. The five-year apprenticeship as part of WEC Group Training Academy offers a range of advantages, including a higher earning potential. Apprentices have constant access to state-of-the-art equipment five days a week, enabling them to learn and utilise the most modern practices and techniques whilst mixing with our staff to get a taste for the workplace.

If you are interested in our engineering apprenticeships or require further information, please email anitaa@mtladv.com or call 0114 2617979.

Good luck!
